DAYS TO MATURITY - 40-55 to leaf harvest; 95-115 to seed

Culture - Easy to grow. Direct seed (recommended) - Sow in spring as soon as soil can be worked. Plant seeds 1/8 - 1/4 " deep. 2 seeds per inch. Germination: 7-21 days.
Light/Soil Requirements: Rich, light soil in full sun, but will grow in most soils.
Height: 36-60"; 6-8" for dwarf varieties.
Harvest: Foliage may be harvested once the plants have become established right up to the flowering. Harvest seed heads just as seeds can both be dried and stored for future use.
